From 7 to 14 March 2026, Athens became the meeting point for 40 young changemakers from across Europe. Hosted at Impact Hub, the 1st TEAMIT+ Bootcamp brought together participants from Spain, France, Finland, and Greece for a week full of collaboration, new ideas, and impact-driven innovation. It was the beginning of an exciting journey where creativity, teamwork, and purpose came together to turn challenges into opportunities.
Guided by Lander Jimenez Ocio from Mondragon University and Maialen Mendizabal from Diversity for Equality, participants had the opportunity to get to know one another, exchange perspectives, and explore some of the most pressing sustainability challenges affecting their countries and communities.
The bootcamp marked an important step in the TEAMIT+ journey. After building initial connections, participants identified the sustainability issues that mattered most to them and formed teams based on their shared interests. From that point on, they began working together to explore these challenges more deeply and take the first steps towards developing their own entrepreneurial project ideas.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in a rich learning process combining reflection, teamwork, and intercultural exchange. Through structured activities – such as “My Hand” & “Food for thought”, they were encouraged to better understand themselves, reflect on their strengths and motivations, and build stronger foundations for collaboration within their teams.
At the same time, the bootcamp created space for meaningful intercultural learning. During the Cultural Night, participants shared elements of their cultures, traditions, and everyday realities, creating a vibrant atmosphere of openness, curiosity, and connection. These exchanges helped strengthen the group spirit while highlighting the value of diversity in team-based innovation.
As the week unfolded, participants also learned how to approach a topic through research and data collection, gaining practical tools to better understand the real dimensions of the challenges they had chosen to address. Each team started shaping its own project by combining personal experiences, shared values, and evidence-based thinking.
On the final day of the bootcamp, each team presented the topic they had chosen and shared the work developed so far. This was also the moment for a first introduction to the coach who will support and guide each team in the period leading up to the 2nd Bootcamp in Bidart, France.

The journey is far from over. During the 2nd Bootcamp, which will take place from 6 to 11 May 2026, participants will continue developing and refining their projects before presenting them at the Final Event. There, each team will have three minutes to pitch its idea in front of the jury.
The Athens bootcamp was not only the starting point of new project ideas. It was also the beginning of new friendships, new perspectives, and a shared commitment to creating positive change through collaboration and teampreneurship.
