From Experience to Research: New Publications Inspired by TEAMIT+

The TEAMIT+ experience continues to generate new ideas, insights and knowledge beyond the programme itself. What started as a collaborative learning experience across Finland, France, Greece and Spain is now also being reflected in academic research and publications exploring topics such as mobility, trust, intercultural collaboration and green entrepreneurship.

We are happy to share three new publications connected to the TEAMIT+ experience, developed by participants and researchers who drew inspiration from their involvement in the programme.

Exploring youth, mobility and trust

The paper “Broken mobility: An exploratory study on public transport and youth-mistrust in contemporary Greece”, by TEAMIT+ participant Asier Divasson-J., explores how young people in Greece experience public transport.

The study connects mobility challenges with broader questions of safety, civic trust, institutional accountability and social justice, highlighting how everyday mobility can influence young people’s relationship with public services and institutions.

Learning from multicultural remote teamwork

The TEAMIT+ experience also provided the basis for the bachelor’s thesis “Feedback Practices in a Multicultural Remote Team – Case Teamit+”, developed by TEAMIT+ participants Anni A. and Eveliina Holm from Tiimiakatemia in Finland.

The thesis examines how feedback is given and received in a multicultural remote team, with a particular focus on cultural backgrounds, remote collaboration and psychological safety.
By looking at the practical experience of working together across countries and cultures, the research offers valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of multicultural teamwork.

From team learning to green entrepreneurship

A third publication, “Learning together for a greener future: Teampreneurship as an open approach to green entrepreneurship education”, looks at one of the central ideas behind TEAMIT+: the importance of collaboration in addressing today’s environmental and sustainability challenges.

Based on the first edition of TEAMIT+, implemented across Finland, France, Greece and Spain, the paper introduces the concept of “teampreneurship”, a collaborative and impact-oriented approach to entrepreneurship education that places environmental and social purpose at its centre.

Rather than focusing solely on individual entrepreneurship, the approach emphasises collective action, intercultural learning, collaboration and the transformation of environmental awareness into concrete solutions.

The publication also reflects on how TEAMIT+ brought together environmental awareness, intercultural teamwork and the development of social-impact business ideas, demonstrating the potential of learning through creating — and creating together.

The paper was authored by Lander Jiménez Ocio, Jérémy Legardeur, Maialen Mendizabal Eizagirre and Mar Rubio Varas, who were also coaches and part of the team who organised the whole TEAMIT+ experience.

From participation to knowledge

These publications demonstrate how the TEAMIT+ experience can extend beyond the activities, workshops and challenges of the programme itself. By reflecting on their experiences and transforming them into research, participants and partners are contributing to a broader discussion on sustainable mobility, intercultural collaboration, trust and green entrepreneurship education.

They also show the value of creating learning environments where participants are not only recipients of knowledge, but also contributors to new knowledge and ideas.

We would like to congratulate all the authors and thank them for bringing the TEAMIT+ experience into new academic and research contexts.
