The TEAMIT+ training program officially launched this week with an inspiring start across four European cities: Bordeaux – France, Pamplona – Spain, Jyväskylä – Finland, and Kozani – Greece. This innovative program, designed to empower young people and address the pressing issues of climate change, welcomed over 200 enthusiastic students from higher education institutions and vocational education and training (VET) centers.
A Hands-On Approach to Climate Action
TEAMIT+ began with its first Module focusing on climate action, inviting participants to engage in a powerful Climate Action Simulation game. Through this interactive experience, young people explored the real-world impacts of climate change and collaborated on essential actions needed to address the crisis. Working together in teams, they practiced negotiation, decision-making, and leadership skills essential for real-world sustainability efforts.
The event also included interactive workshops, where participants learned more about practical solutions for climate change. These sessions encouraged an exchange of innovative ideas and equipped participants with knowledge and tools to create impacts in their communities and beyond. The activities were met with great enthusiasm, setting a strong foundation for the program’s future ones.

TEAMIT+ will continue on December 3rd with an adrenaline-fueled event, the “24 Hours of Innovation.” This unique experience will challenge participants to collaborate intensively on innovative solutions to various real-world challenges. With only 24 hours to brainstorm, design, and present their ideas, participants will engage in teamwork and creativity, gaining valuable experience in problem-solving, innovation, and resilience.
