The 2nd Bootcamp of TEAMIT+ brought together again 40 young innovators from across Europe for one week full of action, creativity and a drive to make a difference. Hosted by Mondragon University, this bootcamp marked the conclusion of the first edition of the TEAMIT+ programme.
After the 1st Bootcamp in Finland and one month of remote collaboration, the teams came to Bilbao to test, shape, and pitch their solutions to real societal and environmental challenges.
From Concepts to Prototypes
Participants revisited their ideas, challenged assumptions, and developed solutions with the support of their coaches. Innovation is not just about solving problems, but also about building shared values towards a better future. The week was not without its surprises. One team faced a major turning point, deciding to completely shift the focus of their project at the very start of the bootcamp — a bold and uncertain move that could have easily set them back. But with determination, teamwork, and the support of their coach, they managed to reframe their vision, develop a new concept, and deliver a validated solution by the end of the week. Their journey captured the essence of what TEAMIT+ is all about: resilience and adaptability.
Through hands-on workshops, inspirational talks, and community-led activities, they learned how to:
- Prototype effectively during Action Days
- Build impactful business models
- Measure social and environmental impact
- Create engaging pitches for diverse audiences

Pitch Day: Recognising Innovative Ideas
The bootcamp concluded with a powerful pitching event, where each team presented their work, progress, and vision in front of peers, coaches, and guests. The energy was electric — and the ideas, inspiring.
Three teams were selected as winners of the first edition of TEAMIT+:
- MONSTERA
- CARACOOL
- SNACKADEMY
Their projects stood out for their innovation, feasibility, impact potential, and team synergy. As a reward, these teams will receive a 4-month personalised coaching and mentoring, supported by Mondragon University and the network of TEAMIT+ coaches, to help them take their ideas to the next level.
Beyond the Bootcamp: What Comes Next?
Although this bootcamp marked the end of the training cycle, it opened new doors. With the support of coaches, the awarded teams will continue developing their projects, while all participants leave with enhanced skills, strong networks, and a shared belief: they can shape the future they want to see. The countdown is on: the second edition of TEAMIT+ training programme is coming soon, ready to spark the next generation of changemakers, bringing new teams, bold ideas, and even greater impact!
